How it all began…
If someone had told me a few years ago that I would be starting a personal training business, I would have thought they were crazy!
For a long time, I hated the idea of any kind of exercise. As a teenager, I struggled with my mental health and self-confidence, and decided to give this ‘working out thing’ a go. However, when I first started working out, it felt more like a punishment than something positive, I was trying to be the smallest version of myself, under-fuelling and restrictively eating. Over time, I discovered training in a new light, seeing it as a way to build myself up, physically and mentally. I started to fall in love with the process, and the strength and purpose it gave me.
My own personal progress inspired me, and gave me a passion I struggled to feel for any other kind of career. Now, entering this role as a PT, I get the chance to help others feel strong, capable and confident, in ways I never thought possible for myself.
